ComplianceFeed is a service provided by Luke and P LLC. At ComplianceFeed, we are committed to protecting your privacy and to give you a secure online experience. You can travel through most of our site without giving us any information about yourself. But sometimes we do need information to provide certain content, services, and products that you request, and this statement of privacy explains data collection and use in those situations. Collecting Personal Information

We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (personal information) or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is requested when you are ordering e-mail newsletters, joining a limited-access premium site, or purchasing products or services. Personal information collected by ComplianceFeed often is limited to e-mail address, language, country or location, but may include other information when needed to fulfill your request or order.

ComplianceFeed may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. If you elect to engage in these activities, however, ComplianceFeed may ask that you provide us personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address (including ZIP code), e-mail address, employer, job title and department, telephone and fax numbers, and other personal information.

When ordering products or services, you may be asked to provide a credit card number. Depending upon the activity, some of the information that we ask you to provide is identified as mandatory and some as voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to proceed with that activity.

When you buy and install the new products, we may ask you to register your purchase electronically. When you do, we keep this registration information on file with any information you've already given us on previous visits to our Web site. This is considered your personal profile.

When you submit personal information to ComplianceFeed through this Site, you understand and agree that this information may be transferred across national boundaries and may be stored and processed in any of the countries in which ComplianceFeed maintain offices. You also acknowledge that in certain countries or with respect to certain activities, the collection, transferring, storage, and processing of your information may be undertaken by trusted vendors and partners of ComplianceFeed. Use of Personal Information

 

ComplianceFeed collects your information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select. If you subscribe to a service or register a product, for example, the information is used to register your rights, if any, to technical support or other benefits that may be made available to registered users. Your personal information is also used to keep you informed about product upgrades, special offers, and other products and services of ComplianceFeed and selected third parties.

ComplianceFeed may collect information about the use of the Site, such as the types of services used and how many users we receive daily. Security of Personal Information

ComplianceFeed strictly protects the security of your personal information and honors your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Your personal information is never shared outside the company without your permission, except under conditions explained above. Inside the company, data is stored in password-controlled servers with limited access.

EU – U.S. Privacy Shield

 

Compliancefeed  participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU – U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. Harvard is committed to subjecting all personal data received from European Union (EU) member countries, in reliance on the Privacy Shield Framework, to the Framework’s applicable Principles. Compliance Feed is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives, under the Privacy Shield Framework. Harvard complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU, including the onward transfer liability provisions.

In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, We commit to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal information.  EU individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our Privacy Shield policy should contact us Further committed to cooperate with EU data protection authorities (DPAs) with regard to unresolved Privacy Shield complaints concerning human resources data transferred from the EU in the context of the employment relationship.  If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your complaint to your satisfaction, please contact the EU DPAs for more information or to file a complaint.  The services of EU DPAs are provided at no cost to you.

Under certain conditions, more fully described on the Privacy Shield website https://www.privacyshield.gov/article?id=How-to-Submit-a-Complaint you may invoke binding arbitration when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted.

 

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

 

The GDPR is an EU Regulation to improve the protection of the personal data of EU citizens and increase the obligations of organizations who collect or process personal data. These new regulations take effect on the 25th of May 2018. The regulations greatly enhance the data privacy and security of our customers and extend to them exercisable rights enabling greater control over one's personally identifiable information.

ComplianceFeed functions as both a controller and processor of our customers' personally identifiable information (PII). Additionally, we employ a number of sub-processors to which we transmit data for storage or processing beyond feature sets under our immediate control.

As a controller of data, we store PII such as customer names, email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers and avatars. We use databases through GDPR compliant service providers (MSSQL) to store sensitive customer data.

Compliance Feed is also a processor of customer data. We use customer data to compile legal documents. We have a system-wide GDPR compliance effort underway which will manifest itself on the core Harvard’s website as well as any of our hubs, satellite applications, or other owned properties.

This Privacy Policy applies only to your relationship with ComplinaceFeed. It does not apply to the interactions that you have with any other individual, entity, or other group through Harvard’s website. For example, the administrator of an Organization has the ability to disclose or share with other members of the Organization any information that you submit through Harvard’s website. Harvard has no control over this disclosure or sharing, and is not responsible for it. The protection of your personal data when you interact with an Organization through ComplinanceFeed is governed solely by any agreements that you may enter into with the Organization and is beyond the scope of this Privacy Policy. 

This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use Harvard’s website, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.
